Description
This vintage Panasonic portable cassette tape recorder, model RQ-2108, is a rare find for any audio enthusiast. It is a 1st generation unit that was manufactured in Japan in 1984 and comes with a limited warranty covering parts but not service or labor. The recorder has a sleek black color and is a part of the slimline tape player/recorder product line. It uses four size C batteries and has a battery life of approximately 40 hours. The recorder has a pushbutton one-touch recording feature, dynamic speaker, built-in microphone, and a handle. It also has a jack for an optional car adaptor, auto-stop mechanism, operating instructions, headphone jack, and jack for an extra microphone. This unit is perfect for anyone looking to add to their vintage audio collection. This item has never been used. It is in excellent condition…still in original box. You have the option to use an AC cord or a Panasonic car adaptor (RP-911) to supply power instead of the four size C batteries and an additional microphone (WM-2298). None of the three are included with this purchase, but if you decide to purchase any of them, you can find these item numbers in the instruction manual as well.
