Vintage Columbia Records MASTERWORK Cassette Player w/ Case M-652 Tested ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a pre-owned collectible. Fair shape as seen in the images. Please look over the images closely for any flaws, marks or defects. Tested and works, but it does need a belt replacement as the sound is very wobbly and it has a hard time rewinding, both of which are signs of a belt going bad. The leather case shrunk and doesn't snap anymore. I've heard you can take a hair dryer to old leather and stretch it out, but I didn't want to risk damaging it. Requires 4 C batteries, not included. I did test this and it seems to work well using batteries other than it needing a replacement belt. I did spray under the knobs with contact cleaner to get rid of crackles and I did clean the heads and pinch roller (they were filthy!). Unsure if it needs further servicing beyond a new belt. It can use a good scrubbing/cleaning as well.
