Description
GRACE Digital- Analog Audio Cassette Tape to Digital File Converter + Manual & 8 FREE BASF Cassette Tapes WATCH VIDEO This is a cassette deck it does not play any other tape format It converts your analog cassettes to digital files I used talk radio because ebay muted video with music We recorded talk radio from our iphone to the RCA tape deck inputs We then connected the deck to our laptop using the included USB cable going from the USB output on the back of the deck to the USB input of the laptop The difference in sound is only due to the quality of the laptop speaker not the file You first hear the sound coming from the tape deck into the laptop The decks speaker is quite loud & volume (adjusted on the back ) was set high You then hear the digitized wave coming from the laptops tiny built in speaker The quality is the same it's just the difference in speaker This does not come with audacity software You can download Audicity for FREE online The most common mistake made with this deck is... Assuming the volume control on the back also controls the volume of the recording it only controls the internal speaker volume The silver knob on top controls the USB signal Heads /roller are clean One important note IMPORTANT: This was produced on an older laptop with an older version of Audacity as shown in the screen shots This is a very simple design however.... If you are unsure if this deck works with your operating system or version of Audacity or another digital converter software please do not buy this unit I am not a computer expert & cannot answer tech questions I can only say it worked with the audacity software noted in the photo on an older laptop as shown above This is a simple unit to use if you have analog audio cassette tapes especially of family & you want the audio preserved digitally I've included a FREE lot of 8 used BASF blank tapes that have been recorded over I do not know if the tapes have been erased/re-recorded or if the labels match the audio on the tapes They are FREE
