Check out these awesome, ultra rare & HTF collectable comic books--THAI COMIC BOOKLET, LOT OF 2, 1990. Sorry, folks, we can't provide too much info. about this item--language is Thai & although we identified these by asking the woman at the local Thai restaurant if these were indeed, Thai, we didn't want to get chased out of the place w/a carving knife again. These comics came in a huge bundle from Ft. Stewart, GA, 1995; originally purchased in Thailand, these are likely the last 2 we have--we sold at least 100 of them throughout the early 2000's. Small booklets, approx. 5 1/4"x7", 130 pages each! There is surface, edge wear & creasing; some discoloration to the outer edges; some red stamping to outside upper pages; inside pages & spine tight. Color front & back covers; most of the comics are black & white w/some being color. We will say that these do not look like comics for children, likely 14+--we are no PMRC-ers, but just from looking at comics, there is some really silly, wowser, va-va-va-voom humor not necessarily for the littles. Considering littles are marketed Huggy Wuggy, who are we to judge? Crossword in 1 of the books has been filled--oh dang; some topical Western themes for 1990-era including a chimp kissing Bill Clinton who’s on the tv screen—you don't need to read Thai to figure out that one! Speaking of reading, what we can read is that these are from 1990 & look to be issue 12; #258 & #263.
